Set 2 | Transitional Architecture
Europe as a whole contains a plethora of impressive architectural feats and this set of posts, titled “Transitional Architecture,” not only highlights these accomplishments but also serves a purpose to my page as a whole: to transition away from the warm summer aesthetic. Architecture allows us to see a civilization progression or transition through time and these posts do the same for my page. I aim to move toward a neutral white in my upcoming posts and decided that this set would accomplish that task. The color matched curve at the bottom of the images flows between each building in a manner similar to a wave. The movement cascades between each building, highlighting a certain aspect: the Eiffel Tower’s unique shape, Big Ben’s tall figure, and Hollyrood House’s unique pointed roof.
